Tips from Mary

Tips from Mary

One of the best things about being one of RestoreZ’s founders, is getting to speak to you about the challenges you face with sleep, and answering questions you have about RestoreZ. I’ve noticed lately a lot of you have the same questions, and so, I decided to share some of those questions and give you the answers. So, without further ado, here are some answers to the questions we hear most of often.

Question Number 1: How do I know if I’m taking the right formula of RestoreZ?

After reading our product descriptions, most people have an instinctive idea of which formula is right for them. When you have that instinct, that’s the formula we recommend you start with. For example, if you, like me, have no trouble falling asleep, but often wake up in the middle of the night, you’re going to intuitively know that Stay Asleep is going to right formula for you, and you should try it first.

A friend of mine was sure that she needed Deep Asleep, so she ordered it and two weeks later confessed to me that she didn’t think it working, that she didn’t feel any different. Since I knew she wore a fitness tracker, I asked her to share her sleep data with me. I saw right away that her problem wasn’t with the deepness of her sleep, but that she spent the first 2 to 3 hours of her sleep tossing and turning. She was the perfect candidate for Fall Asleep. We sent her a bottle of Fall Asleep and she’s been taking Fall Asleep nightly ever since.

If you need help understanding which product is right for you, check out the product finder: Which RestoreZ is right for Me, to narrow down which is the best formula for you.

When you are making a selection, you might find yourself torn between two or more of our products. We recommend that you go with your gut instinct, and try the formula for two weeks. But here is something very important I want you to know.If after two weeks, you don’t feel like you’re getting better, more restorative sleep, just contact us, and we will help you select a different formula, based on your unique sleep needs at no additional charge. And if you are still not happy with RestoreZ, call us, and we will refund your money, no hassles. You have my word.

Question Number 2: What happens if I miss my normal dose of RestoreZ?

OH NO! You’re IN BIG TROUBLE!! Yeah, I’m kidding. Nothing bad will happen. You might sleep a little less deeply, and you might feel a step slower the next morning, but otherwise, just get back to your normal schedule as soon as you can. You don’t need to double up. You don’t need to panic. RestoreZ supports your body’s natural circadian rhythm. The effects are cumulative, and missing one night won’t undo all the good it’s doing your body.

Question Number 3: I normally go to sleep each night at one particular time, but tonight I need to stay up later for a social engagement. Should I take RestoreZ at my normal time or at my revised bedtime?

In order to, keep your body in sync, you need to try to keep your bedtime in a predictable window every single day. But if you can’t, take your RestoreZ before you actually hit the sack. Some people find that RestoreZ makes them feel sleepy or relaxed, and it’s better to wait to experience those yummy feelings until you’re ready to indulge them.

You’ve heard about jet lag, and Jennifer even wrote a blog about technology jet lag, but did you know there’s also SOCIAL JET LAG? It’s true. Just moving your bedtime an hour or two on weekend nights, has the same effect as traveling to a different time zone, disrupting our circadian rhythm and making you feel out of sync, causing social jet lag. That out-of-sync feeling is why so many people dread Monday mornings. Statistics have shown that traffic accidents and heart attacks are more likely to occur on Monday than any other day of the week.

Question Number 4: Can I have a glass of wine or a cocktail, if I’m going to take RestoreZ at bedtime?

There is no ingredient in RestoreZ that would be unsafe if consumed with alcohol. That said, we have three general statements of warning.

  1. Don’t mix alcohol, RestoreZ and driving or operating machinery. That’s just a bad idea.
  2. Use good judgement. Everyone reacts to alcohol differently. Be aware of your personal limitations.
  3. Lastly, Alcohol impedes the body’s ability to reach the deep, restorative REM stage of sleep. On the nights where you have a glass of wine or a cocktail with dinner, you might feel more tired in the morning than normal.

Question Number 5: Do you guys take RestoreZ? Which ones do you take?

Great question, and yes, we do! I take Stay Asleep. My biggest sleep problem has always been that I wake up in the middle of the night, and it has completely changed my sleep patterns.

Jennifer takes Fall Asleep. She has always been a terrible sleeper, so now, she’s committed herself to practicing good sleep hygiene, which includes taking her Fall Asleep every night.

We are both big fans of Power Nap. When we have the time to sneak in a quick nap or 20 minutes of peace and quiet, we take Power Nap, and afterwards we have the energy to complete our day.

I love hearing from you. Keep on sending your questions and comments to mary@restorez.com. Sleep well!
